Alternatives to The Ordinary's Copper Peptide Serum

We sell one of the alternatives, so start from the assumption that we are biased and check the numbers, which are all from brand pages on 24 August 2026.
The useful version of this question is not "what is better". It is "what is better for the specific reason you want to switch". Those point at different products.
First, the case for not switching
The Ordinary Multi-Peptide + Copper Peptides 1% is $32 for 30ml, which is $1.07 per ml, and it publishes a formulation pH of 6.0 to 7.0. Only 4 of the 23 products we checked publish a pH at all. Copper Tripeptide-1 sits 4th of 49.
On price-to-disclosure ratio, nothing in our dataset beats it. If you are switching because of a vague sense that cheap means worse, the specs do not support that and you should probably stay.
If you are leaving because the 1% is ambiguous
This is the strongest reason to switch. The Ordinary puts 1% in the product name but does not resolve whether it attaches to GHK-Cu specifically or to a broader copper complex.
NIOD CAIS3 is the clearest answer. 1% GHK-Cu plus a separate 1% GHK, with pH 5.7 to 6.7. $62 for 15ml, so roughly four times the price per ml. Same parent company, which some people find reassuring and others find irritating.
Ours states 1% GHK-Cu with a single pH of 6.0, at $60 for 30ml, which is $2.00 per ml. Roughly double The Ordinary, half NIOD.
If you are leaving because the formula is too long
49 ingredients is a lot if you are building your own stack and want to control each input.
Skin Perfection lists 3 ingredients in its main list and states 1%. $33.95. About as minimal as this category gets.
Asterwood is 6 ingredients and states 0.10% inside the ingredient list itself. $21.99 for 1oz, so cheaper than The Ordinary per ml. Note the concentration is a tenth, and their own imagery shows a clear bottle rather than amber.
If you are leaving on price
Harder than it sounds, because The Ordinary is already near the floor for a product that discloses anything.
Good Molecules Super Peptide Serum is $12 for 30ml, $0.40 per ml. It states 5 ppm, which is 0.0005%, so about a two-thousandth of a 1% product. Cheaper per ml, dramatically more expensive per unit of copper peptide. Their page tells you this, which is to their credit.
COSRX 6 Peptide is $25 for 150ml, $0.17 per ml, the cheapest here. No concentration stated, and it is a booster format rather than a treatment serum.
If you are leaving on texture
Look at the base rather than the brand. Aqueous formulas absorb and leave nothing; silicone-forward ones pill under sunscreen. That is a property of the INCI, not the price, and you can check it before buying on any of these.
The one thing worth carrying with you
Whatever you switch to, cycle it. Thirty days on, thirty days off. Continuous high-potency copper use is the single most common way people end up worse off, and it is independent of which brand you buy. The protocol and why it exists.
