The 30/30 Copper Peptide Protocol: Saturation, Integration, Recalibration
Share
Copper peptides are not a product you use forever. They are a signal you cycle. Here is the full protocol, why it is built this way, and how to run it.
Why cycle at all
GHK-Cu drives remodeling: breakdown of old matrix and synthesis of new. Push the signal every day with no recovery and breakdown can outrun synthesis, which shows up as temporary dullness (the copper uglies). Cycling gives the synthesis side room to catch up and compound. Read the mechanism in the copper uglies breakdown.
The three phases
- Phase 01, Saturation (30 days). Apply twice daily. You are upregulating collagen signaling and antioxidant defense, sending the remodeling signal at a meaningful dose.
- Phase 02, Integration (30 days). Zero application. This is the part everyone skips and the part that matters. The skin resets and synthesizes new matrix on top of the stimulus.
- Phase 03, Recalibration (ongoing). Initialize the next batch and repeat. Long-term structure comes from repeated cycles, not from never stopping.
How to actually run it
Clean skin, twice daily, during the saturation month. Aqueous base means it absorbs in seconds with zero tactile interference, so it goes first and the rest of your stack goes on top. Then you stop for a month. That is it.
Scalp runs once daily on the same calendar. Align every surface you treat to one start date so there is a single thing to track.
Evaluate at the end of integration, not saturation
A detail that surprises people: skin often looks best at day 60, not day 30. During saturation both breakdown and synthesis are running hard. During integration the breakdown quiets and synthesis catches up. Judging on the last day of a saturation block means judging at the least flattering point in the cycle.
Photograph day one in fixed light, same angle, no filter. Repeat at day 30 and day 60. Full timeline.
What to run during the off block
Integration is not dead time. It is where every active that conflicts with copper peptides belongs: vitamin C, AHAs, BHAs, benzoyl peroxide. Nothing gets compromised because nothing overlaps. Conflict list.
Why the subscription is built on the cycle
amide ships on the cadence the protocol actually runs on, not on a random 30-day auto-charge. A batch arrives when it is time to initialize the next saturation phase. The system does the remembering so you run the protocol correctly without thinking about it.
